CVE-2026-13385Network attack vector

Command execution via spoofed update server

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

Improper update validation in ASUS Router firmware allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute commands through a spoofed server. The update path accepts a spoofed server because it improperly validates certificates and integrity values, then downloads and executes an attacker-supplied command. Exploitation requires interception of the router's network traffic; successful attacks run arbitrary commands without prior authentication.
