Authenticated PowerShell execution via display-name collision
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Incorrect link resolution in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager 2026.2.5 through 2026.2.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute PowerShell. The custom PowerShell VPN editor resolves script links by display name rather than a unique identifier, so a colliding entry selects an attacker-controlled script. Write access to a shared workspace and an affected user's interaction with the entry are required; the script then runs in that user's context.
