CVE-2026-1337Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped query-log metadata

Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026

Stored XSS in Neo4j Community and Enterprise editions before 2026.01.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into query logs. The query logger writes control characters and transaction metadata into plain-text query.log entries without neutralizing Unicode line breaks or HTML-active text. Execution requires an authenticated Bolt transaction and a separate user to open the log in an HTML-rendering tool; Neo4j itself is not impacted.
