Unauthorized trusted-user actions via forged requests
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0 and 2.1 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized trusted-user actions. IBM has not published the affected request handler or the precise validation failure that causes acceptance of forged state-changing requests. Exploitation requires a trusted user to interact with attacker-controlled content, and successful requests execute actions with that user's existing authority.
