Arbitrary code execution via malformed EPRT parsing

Out-of-bounds write in Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 through 2026 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted EPRT file. The EPRT file-reading procedure writes beyond an allocated buffer when it processes malformed file content; the vendor has not disclosed a finer-grained code locus. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which attacker-supplied code executes with the eDrawings process privileges.
