CVE-2026-13341Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unneutralized analytics metadata

Published Jul 3, 2026 · Updated Jul 3, 2026

Prompt injection in Kong Konnect MCP Server before 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive data through stored analytics metadata. Analytics tools return attacker-controlled request metadata to an AI assistant without neutralization, while unvalidated identifiers can alter Konnect API paths requested with the user token. Exploitation requires a user to query poisoned analytics and a client that acts on returned content, enabling outbound disclosure of secrets, configuration values, hostnames, or operational metadata.
