Authenticated database disclosure via unprepared search query
Published Jun 27, 2026 · Updated Jun 27, 2026
SQL injection in Groundhogg for WordPress 4.5.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data via search. The API v4 base-object search path incorporates the user-supplied search value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation. Exploitation requires marketer-level access or higher and exposes database information without reported modification or service interruption.
