Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Stored XSS in Wealcoder Animation Addons for Elementor before 2.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via SVG uploads. The plugin unconditionally adds SVG and SVGZ to the WordPress upload allowlist but does not sanitize embedded JavaScript before serving the files inline. Author-level upload_files capability is required, and execution occurs when a user opens the uploaded file, exposing that user's browser session to script actions.
