Information disclosure and memory exhaustion via XML entities
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
XXE in IBM MQ Managed File Transfer allows remote attackers to read sensitive data or exhaust memory by submitting XML input. IBM has not disclosed which MFT XML-processing path accepts external entity declarations or how entity resolution remains enabled. Reachability requires attacker-controlled XML to reach an affected MFT parser; exploitation reads parser-accessible data or interrupts service through memory exhaustion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
