Arbitrary code execution via AdFilter use-after-free
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Use-after-free in AdFilter in Google Chrome on Android before 149.0.7827.201 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted HTML. AdFilter accesses an object after its memory has been freed; Google keeps the underlying bug details restricted, so the responsible function and lifetime error are undisclosed. Exploitation requires the attacker to convince a user to open the page and perform specific UI gestures, after which attacker-controlled code runs in the affected browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
