Unauthorized core actions via missing agent tool checks
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Drupal AI before 1.2.17, 1.3.0 through 1.3.7, and 1.4.0 through 1.4.2 allows attackers to invoke core actions. Certain core actions exposed as agent tools omit correct access validation, while other actions lack access-level definitions that constrain their use. Exploitation requires access to communicate with an affected agent and a configuration exposing those tools to non-privileged users, enabling unauthorized execution of the exposed actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.0.0 <1.2.17
