Script execution via unsanitized LLM previews
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Drupal AI before 1.2.17, 1.3.0 through 1.3.7, and 1.4.0 through 1.4.2 allows attackers to run scripts. Browser previews in AI Automators, AI Translate, AI API Explorer, and AI Content Suggestions render attacker-influenced HTML or Markdown generated by an LLM without sufficient neutralization. An attacker must inject text into an LLM prompt and a user must view the generated preview; resulting script execution can read or modify browser-accessible data, while some previews expose secret LLM-request communications.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.0.0 <1.2.17
- Affected versionversion=1.3.0 <1.3.8
- Affected versionversion=1.4.0 <1.4.3
