Stored XSS via raw response-message rendering
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Drupal Advanced Content Feedback before 2.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers. The module emits administrator-configured Yes, No, and custom No-response text as raw HTML instead of escaping plain text or filtering formatted text. Attackers need the administer admin feedback permission, and script execution occurs when a visitor receives the configured response, exposing browser-accessible data and page content.
