Stored XSS via unsanitized order email
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Stored XSS in pretix before 2026.3.4, 2026.4.0 through 2026.4.3, and 2026.5.0 through 2026.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute script. The individual-ticket confirmation renderer inserts the stored order email as HTML without sanitizing it before rendering the page. Exploitation requires a user to open that confirmation page; its Content Security Policy constrains the injected HTML unless tracking plugins weaken the policy.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <2026.3.4
