Server-side dialog tampering via unauthenticated parameters
Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026
Insufficient integrity protection in Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX before 2026.2.708 allows remote attackers to alter server-side dialog processing. DialogHandler accepts request parameters without adequately verifying their authenticity, so tampered values influence its server-side processing. Exposure requires RadEditor or RadFileExplorer and either a configured DialogParametersEncryptionKey or no explicit machineKey; the flaw changes dialog behavior and supports chained exploitation.
