Path traversal in Progress Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX before 2026.2.708 allows remote attackers to execute code through persistence state. AppDataStorageProvider uses a user-controlled storage key to select a file for loading as persistence state, permitting relative paths to feed an attacker-written file into deserialization. Exposure requires file-based RadPersistenceManager storage and a key derived from request data; the fixed default key is not exposed.
