Unauthenticated payment bypass via attacker-controlled order status
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Authorization bypass in Arraytics Eventin before 4.1.16 allows remote attackers to create paid orders without payment through its REST API. The /wp-json/eventin/v2/orders handler accepts an attacker-supplied status and persists completed orders without verifying payment. Exploitation requires a valid wp_rest nonce and an existing event with a configured ticket, resulting in an unpaid order recorded as paid.
