Contributor-level order data disclosure via unchecked ownership
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
IDOR in Eventin before 4.1.20 allows remote authenticated users with contributor access to read other customers' order data. The GET /wp-json/eventin/v2/orders/{id} route returns the referenced order without verifying that the requester owns it or may view it. A contributor account and at least one order on another user's event are required; iterating integer IDs exposes customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment methods, prices, and statuses.
