CVE-2026-13174Network attack vector

Contributor-level account deletion via IDOR

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Missing authorization in Eventin before 4.1.21 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' accounts via speaker actions. Public records describe an IDOR in the speaker account deletion workflow: it trusts a target account identifier and deletes the linked WordPress user without confirming ownership of the speaker record or permission to manage other users. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stated consequence is permanent removal of another user account rather than broader code execution.
