Email disruption via nonce-free configuration deletion
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
CSRF in MailerSend Official SMTP Integration before 1.0.8 allows remote attackers to erase SMTP settings and deactivate the plugin. The configuration-delete action checks manage_options but processes the mailer_delete request without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled content, after which transactional email delivery is interrupted.
