Unauthenticated server requests via unchecked URL
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Kirki before 6.0.12 allows remote attackers to make arbitrary HTTP requests through kirki_get_apis. The AJAX handler accepts an elementUrl from a guest nonce-bearing request and passes it to wp_remote_get without SSRF-safe URL validation. The unauthenticated path reaches loopback, private, link-local, and public hosts; arbitrary responses remain blind unless they contain Kirki-block JSON.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
