Code execution via invalid form object access
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Reader for Windows allows attackers to execute code when a crafted PDF is opened. JavaScript traverses a damaged PDF field tree, leaves an invalid form object in the field property path, and later reads its stale pointer. Exploitation requires user interaction to open the document; the memory corruption also causes application crashes or information disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
