Missing authentication in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 allows remote attackers to capture a user's screen through its local WebSocket API. The server on localhost port 9100 accepts connections without credentials, and the create and getScreenCapture methods attach to a window and return its pixels as JPEG data. Exploitation requires a user to visit an attacker-controlled page while the add-on is running; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of visible screen content.
