Authenticated order disclosure via unchecked shortcode identifier
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Authorization bypass in PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce 5.14.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read order documents. The generate_document_shortcode handler accepts an attacker-chosen order_id, substitutes that order's order_key, and creates a session-free download URL without checking entitlement. Contributor access and the non-default full link-access setting are required; the resulting URL exposes third-party invoices and packing slips containing customer, order, and payment data.
