CVE-2026-13094

Local code execution via publicly writable configuration

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Code injection in Access Client Solutions (ACS) 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.13 from IBM allows local users to execute arbitrary code on Windows. In an all-users installation, the external AcsConfig.properties file is publicly writable, and ACS reads the file before the bundled copy at startup. Only machine-wide Windows installations are exposed, and IBM has not disclosed which property value turns the configuration write into code execution.
