CVE-2026-13059Network attack vector

Authenticated RBAC bypass via unvalidated command parameters

Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026

Authorization bypass in affected MongoDB Server releases allows remote authenticated users to read or write role-protected data. The find, update, delete, and aggregate command paths accept certain client-supplied parameters without sufficient validation before query-level authorization decisions. Low-privileged access and a non-apiStrict configuration are required; successful exploitation bypasses role-based query restrictions without interrupting service.
