Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized settings
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Stored XSS in Mehtevas Responsive Header Plugin 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through plugin settings. The settings code in rhp-settings.php stores multiple parameter values without adequate input sanitization and later renders them without output escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or installations with unfiltered_html disabled; stored scripts execute when an injected page is viewed.
