Administrator file deletion via template path traversal
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
Path traversal in FunnelKit Funnel Builder before 3.15.0.6 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to delete JSON files. The step-import REST handler sanitizes builder and template values as text, but WFFN_Template_Importer::import_remote() concatenates them into a path and calls wp_delete_file() without real-path confinement. Exploitation requires manage_options and an existing importer directory; deletion is limited to writable .json files and can disable plugins or themes.
