Database disclosure via unprepared order_by query
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
SQL injection in MultiVendorX 5.0.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data through the transactions endpoint. The endpoint uses the user-controlled order_by value in an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Subscriber-level access reaches the endpoint when automatic store approval lets a logged-in user self-register as a store owner with edit_stores.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
