CVE-2026-12927

Code execution via malicious CGF import

Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in Schneider Electric IGSS Definition 18.0.0.26124 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious CGF file. Def.exe's CGF import path writes outside a memory buffer while parsing a crafted file; Schneider Electric has not disclosed the responsible parser or malformed field. Execution requires a local user to actively import the file, after which memory corruption can execute attacker-controlled code or destroy Definition data.
