Formula execution via unescaped attendee fields
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
Formula injection in Venueless before 0a35457f allows remote authenticated users to execute formulas through administrator XLSX exports. The generate_attendee_list task appends untrusted attendee fields to an openpyxl workbook, which interprets equals-prefixed strings as formulas instead of text. Low-privileged access is required to supply the data, and an administrator must generate and open the workbook; effects are confined to workbook integrity and the spreadsheet user's environment.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
