Authenticated command execution via unsanitized netmask
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
OS command injection in GeoVision GV-I/O Box 4E 2.09 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via a network request. CNetSetObj::m_F_n_Set_Net_Mask inserts an unsanitized netmask into an ifconfig command string and passes it to system. Administrative access to DVRSearch or Network.cgi is required, and successful injection runs attacker-supplied commands on the appliance.
