Open redirect via unchecked CDC return URL
Published Jun 21, 2026 · Updated Jun 21, 2026
Open redirect in the SAML Common Domain Cookie endpoint in LemonLDAP::NG 2.23.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect users. CDC.pm accepted the url parameter as a return destination without checking its origin or restricting its host. The CDC feature must be enabled and a victim must follow a crafted link; the bounded consequence is redirection to an attacker-chosen phishing site.
