Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked AJAX action
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Missing authorization in N-Media Frontend File Manager Plugin 23.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to email arbitrary uploaded files. The wpfm_send_file_in_email AJAX action accepts a caller-supplied file_id and sends the referenced file without a capability check. No authentication is required, and sequential integer IDs permit enumeration and disclosure of administrator-restricted uploads.
