Unauthenticated administrator creation via unvalidated form ID
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Privilege escalation in Crocoblock JetFormBuilder 3.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts. The form handler accepts an untrusted _jet_engine_booking_form_id, parses the referenced post as form schema, and runs its Advanced Validation server-side callback without confirming that the post is a JetFormBuilder form. No authentication is required, and a crafted submission can execute a registration callback that creates a new administrator-level WordPress user.
