Database read and write via unvalidated sort field
Published Jun 21, 2026 · Updated Jun 21, 2026
SQL injection in ILIAS 11.0 Learning Progress Tracking allows remote authenticated users to read or write database data via a sort parameter. ilTrQuery::executeQueries appends the troup_table_nav-derived order field directly to an ORDER BY clause without parameterization or an allowlist. Course or group administrators, including users permitted to create such objects, can extract records through timing or sort-order oracles and modify data where the database permits it.
