Privilege escalation in EaseUS Partition Master 14.0 through 14.5 allows local users to access protected disk data via epmntdrv.sys. The Windows kernel driver lets standard users open the EPMNTDRV device, bind a caller-selected physical disk, and forward raw reads and writes without enforcing normal access checks. A low-privilege account can therefore read or overwrite protected file data and use the primitive to gain elevated privileges.
