Victim-session script execution via unneutralized HTML
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
HTML injection in IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation allows remote authenticated users to run HTML in a victim's browser. The Business Automation Workflow component passes attacker-supplied HTML into a page without neutralizing script-related tags; IBM has not disclosed the affected field or rendering path. Exploitation requires authenticated access and a separate victim to view the injected content, permitting script execution in the hosting site's security context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
