Firmware integrity bypass in ABB KNX Bus Update 2.0.175 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to disable legacy KNX devices. The tool transfers tampered or intercepted firmware images because the classic KNX protocol provides no firmware-image integrity protection. Physical access to the connected KNX bus is required; modified firmware can stop a device or alter its behavior after reverse engineering.
