File disclosure and service interruption via RFH2 XXE
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
XML external entity injection in affected IBM MQ .NET clients allows remote authenticated users to read local files or interrupt the client. RFH2 folder parsing expands attacker-supplied external XML entities, causing the client to load local resources or consume processing capacity. Exploitation requires authorization to place a crafted message where the vulnerable client parses its RFH2 header.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
