Internal network requests via reverse DNS validation
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
SSRF in GitLab CE/EE 8.3 through 18.11.5, 19.0 through 19.0.2, and 19.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services. Repository mirror synchronization relies on reverse DNS results during URL validation, allowing a mirror endpoint to pass the internal-network restriction. Maintainer-role access and mirror synchronization are required; the published impact is limited to outbound internal requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=19.0 <19.0.3
- Affected versionversion=19.1 <19.1.1
