Incorrect default permissions in Aruba PEC S.p.A.'s Aruba Sign before 4.6.6 allow local users to replace files and execute arbitrary code. The default Windows installation grants the Everyone group excessive permissions on the main executable and other files under C:\Program Files, allowing malicious replacements. Exploitation requires local access and later execution of a replaced file; Administrator or SYSTEM execution grants full system control.
