Process termination via unchecked JPX component allocation

Denial of service in Innodata Inc. Poppler dated before 25/08/2026 allows remote attackers to terminate pdftoppm via a crafted PDF. JPXStream::readCodestream() uses attacker-controlled SIZ-segment values, including img.nComps, to allocate tiles and components without adequate bounds validation. Processing a PDF containing crafted JPXDecode images is sufficient to exhaust memory; the reported consequence is out-of-memory process termination.
