Unauthenticated account takeover via unverified Discord email
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Authentication bypass in LoginPress Pro 6.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over WordPress accounts through Discord OAuth. The loginpress_on_discord_login() callback accepts Discord's email field without checking the verified flag, maps it to a local user, and sets an authentication cookie. Exploitation requires the Discord social-login flow and an unverified Discord email matching an existing account; the resulting session has that account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
