Heap disclosure or crash via truncated multipart length
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in libsoup3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 allows remote attackers to disclose heap data or crash applications. The multipart parser passes a length through an integer type mismatch to soup_headers_parse(), truncating the value and reading beyond the heap buffer. Exploitation requires an application to process a crafted multipart HTTP message and user interaction; consequences are limited to heap disclosure or an application crash.
