Stored XSS via unescaped Event URL output
Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026
Stored XSS in Events Listing Widget 1.3.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through the Event URL field. Event data handling stores the field without sufficient sanitization, and the widget renderer emits it into page output without URL or attribute escaping. Author-level access is required to plant a payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever an affected event listing is viewed.
