Unauthenticated stored XSS via User-Agent statistics
Published Jul 24, 2026 · Updated Jul 24, 2026
Stored XSS in LOYTEC LINX firmware through 8.4.16 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The OPC XML-DA server records an unescaped User-Agent header from an unauthenticated POST /da request and later inserts it into the server statistics page. Execution requires an administrator to view those statistics, enabling session-cookie theft or device reconfiguration with that administrator's web privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
