Authenticated internal-service access via unvalidated lyrics URL
Published Feb 14, 2026 · Updated Feb 14, 2026
SSRF in Sonaar Music MP3 Audio Player 5.3 through 5.10 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services through WordPress. The load_lyrics_ajax_callback reads a user-controlled lyrics URL from post metadata and passes it to wp_remote_get without destination validation. Author-level access and a valid AJAX nonce are required; successful requests originate from the web server and can expose internal-service responses.
