Unauthenticated email relay via unescaped form content
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in Themeum Kirki 6.0.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to send HTML email through the WordPress site. CompLibFormHandler passes emailSubject to wp_mail() after only sanitize_text_field() and concatenates emailBody text items into HTML without escaping. No account is required; the endpoint can relay phishing mail to registered users and insert a genuine password-reset link for the targeted account.
