Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome Media before 149.0.7827.155 allows remote attackers to execute code in its sandbox via crafted HTML. The restricted bug record does not disclose the Media object whose lifetime is mishandled or the operation performed on its freed storage. Exploitation requires a compromised renderer and user interaction with crafted content; resulting code execution remains confined to the Chrome sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
